My Kind of love

I have not been here in a very long time....Thing is I have been looking for avenues to write but something else keeps coming up.I am pained by it literally, because as usual I have a lot of stories to tell the world..my dad says storytellers are the best liars but I disagree :) That's because that statement directly implicates me...

Last week was probably the best week I have had in a long time: Nothing extra ordinary happened, nothing to write home about but everything my heart cant begin to fathom...I probably treat this blog like my personal diary what the hell?? I will never get real in person like I get on this blog :) I am going to make an attempt on how my week went and hopeful get to capture the super highlights ( those girlie melting moments) of my life !!

I am in love ( No secret there) but this time for all the right reasons...I think *dikes and hides face* so most of what made my week has to do with that special person in my life

Monday: Had a random coffee date that turned out to be magical in all fronts. We had only 500 shillings between us and poverty but we had the best date ever! It felt like one of those days where we would talk about anything and everything without judgments and without a lot of those ego boosting sweet nothings :) Everything was plain and simple and NICE...There was a renewed connection that I felt had gone for a moments there. Some new energies!!

                                       -SKIP REST OF THE WEEK-
Friday: I had no intention of going out since you know am still the little girl who stays with her folks :) So am home chilling with messed up hair then I get THE call and THE voice tells me to look outside my window!! I felt like Juliet looking down at her Romeo (although that ended up tragically). I walk out and I find the scene was one short from being a serenade :)Overall my evening rocked...till my Ol'man showed up and I had to belt out a couple of non coherent words in my attempt to explain where I had been.

Saturday: I actually got to really dress up to attend a CARDS ONLY event!! Yes am VIP like that :) and guess who was also there? The Man with THE voice...we had a blast dissing (and I was there for work) all the #failed moments at the events. Made me giddy how HUNGRY I was and yet I somehow skipped dinner...Sometimes it makes no sense at all :)

Overall love is a beautiful thing...and once in a while I celebrate how life has been good to me on that front lately. in that light:

The mood am on :) ION I have missed my friends....

MOTHERHOOD 101- I am no expert!

So my fiance has been begging me to write something,anything! and I kept putting him off...the writing bug has not been around for a really long time and too much has happend in my life that I really did not have time to write. Its been two months since I have officially been back to work and its killing me! Mad respect to all mother's y'all! Now I know. Most of my peers have been sending me inboxes of late asking for advise here and there about motherhood and I feel really honored :) So in honor of that, I will document sneak peaks of my motherhood experiences the best way I know how (Darn! my writing mojo just went and dissapeared with the dogs....sigh!) a) Pregnancy I have to say this was the most beautiful part of motherhood for me and the most challenging. 2012 hasbeen one EFFING Good Year!

I have not written on this blog for a whiiiiiiile...OK even that is an understatement. I have not had the juices flow in a long time and things have been kinda hectic on my end. As is my tradition, Its almost end of year and I have several things to document...It is that time of the year where I reflect, think about all the things that have happened in my life and sigh*2012 has been a pretty good year! So first things first... a) My Job Have you ever had a love/ hate relationship with your job? Well, lets just say am one of those people.
