Her REALITY became her TRUTH

The ground grew darker, and every time she took a step forward, the more she sank in. There was a reeling pain in her brain and outcry by her body to think straight-She was relying on her body to do the thinking, all she felt was numb despite the excruciating pain she was supposed to feel. It was better not to feel, she had decided. She was going to thrive in her reality and try to break free from everything that had defined her. She was about to be reborn, he had robbed everything she had always held closer to her heart.

Hers was a story of regression, from butterfly to Caterpillar, from leaf to bud and she did not know how she had let it happen. How now spirituality, something she had treasured with every inch of her being, seemed so foreign to her. How God had ceased being all knowing and all present and now was just a word so easily spoken off, God. What kind of God would let her sink in so deep like she had? What God would let so many demons dwell in her heart and make a mockery of her soul? What was this God doing a midst all her pain?

There is joy in deception. That is what she had decided. That she was going to take his deception as the greatest day of her life seeing as she had not lived a day in the many years she had stayed with him.She remembered with a bitter fondness the day she had laid her eyes on this man. The man who had taken her through extreme highs and rock bottom lows. His deceptive smile, his deep penetrative eyes, his wicked sense of humor. She remembered those eyes with fondness. they has spoken to her in her times of confusion. She had abandoned her high collar, long dress whenever he looked at her and attempted to make him happy...he stripped her of her faith and she had loved every bit of it, just by that look in his eyes.

The day he said hi is the day she realized she would do anything for this man. She was willing to surrender her heart just to let him take solace in the cage that remained within. The day he placed his mouth on hers is the day she felt her soul leave. That was the day he replaced the clean white vacuum with pitch black darkness..the pleasure lingered in her mouth as the white in her eyes slowed seeped away. The demons had started the process of taking her soul captive, and everything she believed in, slowly became the occupant of a fantasy world and the rent to her reality. He had started his work in her.

Now in this darkness, she remembered how she was before. She was always a happy woman, full of zeal dedicated to God. Full of goodness. Now He had abandoned her and the rain felt like a cold murk dripping on her skin. She prayed for any sign of a miracle, she needed to have her miracle or she would die from the emptiness. For the longest time this man *Rogers had taken the place of God in her life and she was fine with it until this very day that he tried to take the very life that she had given so willingly. It was not long before she got the strength to run..to take this dirt path that kept pulling her back..HOPING....PRAYING

In the midst of her humdrum, just when she had given up, she felt those hands, those strong sinewy hands that she could not forget. The very hands that would be her salvation. The Son of God had come to her rescue. At that moment, she felt the strength come back into her petite body and the warm tears wash away the presence of the demons that had held her captive. She could see the clear sky and wondered whether the rain had been the fruit of her imagination. The whites on her eyes returned and the liberation was overwhelming. SHE HAD RECLAIMED HER WORTH, ALL OF IT.

Her God now became her TRUTH. She realized she was only lost for a little while...the need to revenge felt distant she was going to LIVE.LOVE.LAUGH. again, her storm before the calm had written its words in her heart; she was at peace......

KIDDING) So I have had the privilege to have been in a girls' school for four long but very interesting years and truth be told I had some of my most incredible memories there. It was a roller coaster of hysteria mixed with just the right dose of  hormonal rages and plenty of Cabin fever scenarios :) :) As am writing the memories all come to light and  cheka like a stupid mama wondering why we ever made such a big deal of some things! MOTHERHOOD 101- I am no expert!

So my fiance has been begging me to write something, anything! and I kept putting him off...the writing bug has not been around for a really long time and too much has happend in my life that I really did not have time to write. Its been two months since I have officially been back to work and its killing me! Mad respect to all mother's y'all! Now I know. Most of my peers have been sending me inboxes of late asking for advise here and there about motherhood and I feel really honored :) So in honor of that, I will document sneak peaks of my motherhood experiences the best way I know how (Darn! my writing mojo just went and dissapeared with the dogs....sigh!) a) Pregnancy I have to say this was the most beautiful part of motherhood for me and the most challenging. I vividly remember when I first got the results of my pregnancy test..FEAR,PANIC,HORROR were the words that were running through my head. I was barely out of Uni, with a boyfriend I had dated for about seven months,...
