Another day, another Friday...been an eventful week and I loved every bit of it considering I had two Mondays in one week! I have been postponing this post for the longest time, creating drafts then deleting them then telling myself that's not the right story to tell and what not but hey, I can write whatever I want, what comes from the heart...that way I remain true to self and I get to let the rest of the world in to experience things the way I see them in my eyes :)
So I have been home alone from yesterday and in that daze I get a phone call from someone I did not expect! Considering ours is a business relationship, I picked the call and leaned back on my seat waiting to hear the progress of our business..shock horror! guy starts his own stories, at first am still trying to stabilize myself to hear if am having things play in my ear right and YES i was right, he goes on and on and on about how he likes me and all this time am reading in between the lines thinking fool! When am declining his advances he now become the pea person (A joke was made about how Lil' Wayne's son would be called Pea Wayne hehehe) and he goes ahead and calls me Indifferent, aloof and cynical! Now that's low even for him or am I? Does not matter #athtepickofmybeing
Tuesday night has got to be one the best nights out I have had in a really long time( OK fine apart from my grad party) ..thanks to my very special group of friends...that night with the help of magic moments, the MONKEYS were let out and boy did they let loose :) that's how I discovered the Kenyan men obsession with white ladies :D see I have this white friend and she is the prettiest doll with such a good heart..but that day she was confused! The number of black men tripping over their knees was incredible and too darn hilarious hehehe...just to show how nice she is, a random dude who had bought her several drinks asked for her number.... YES I said random and several...that's how smitten the skin color was making him (and to think how white people are obsessed with having a tan!!!) In the spirit of sisterhood, I did what a good girlfriend would have done: started spelling out the wrong number...and seeing what I was doing, she started objecting instead of playing along ati 'no she is giving you the wrong number, you can have my number!' You should have seen the look on my face I almost pulled a nigga moment! BUT hey like I said she is sweet :)and way naive for the Kenyan population...don't get me wrong she is one focused tough cookie that one!
More MONKEY moments that night a friend lost a phone, I met my X factor- *their is a reason why they call them that* and his boys, the bouncers almost smirked my friend silly for saying she works for the American Embassy LOL aiii it was quiet the night :)
Since am all alone you can volunteer to come keep me company at the house!! I know Saturday am having full house can't wait for my partners in crime to show up!!! Chapat mwoto in the works LOL..Gotta get back to something
N.B. Grad was awesome very grateful to those whose showed up and showered me with gifts..Joe, Nderu represented :D
Till later Muchachos :*
