For old times sake :)

Juices flowing, fave playlist, Thursday that feels like a Friday and all awesome thoughts. I am making mighty milestones and I thank one God Almighty bana warrr I have come far :) Ok now back to the usual sarcastic me...A friend gave me a brilliant idea and I think I just know how to execute it ( Jose I wish you were here, one serious bitching session needed- like real soon, since you went to the UK you have become ooooo so very boring!!!! KIDDING)

So I have had the privilege to have been in a girls' school for four long but very interesting years and truth be told I had some of my most incredible memories there. It was a roller coaster of hysteria mixed with just the right dose of  hormonal rages and plenty of Cabin fever scenarios :) :) As am writing the memories all come to light and  cheka like a stupid mama wondering why we ever made such a big deal of some things! (Jana we was just telling pops all the crazy "don't tell this shit" things we used to as kids and all he did was laugh mpaka he asked for no more- MARK YOU I was even dramatizing!! ) it was hilarious *we had bonding session thanks to a major black out we are currently experiencing* anyhu back to High School....

Now ours was a sister school with a lot of shity rule (am tending to curse a lot nowadays but oh well, who cares? Right?) So back to the rules, we used to receive letters every end of week on Friday at the dining hall and we soooo used to look forward to it seriously, so a piri (cop in our shagzmondo lingo) would read out the names of the lucky few who has received the letters *and I was rarely in that list -I mentioned I used to have serious ugly duckling syndrome back then-* moving on swiftly, they would match from their sits to go and show the world how popular they had become LOL.

This was routine for two years until there was a change of the headmistress...she was not just a headmistress, she was the kind that would breathe fire and brim stones and when it came to it,KICK your silly a** to submission- and mark you she was a 1000 pound monster (ok am exaggerating but y'all get the picture, RIGHT? RIGHT? )
and being naughty caged hormonal bitches we nick-named her manyodo manene (forgive the spelling for my jarabwon bros and sisters)..Mean huh? Not compared to what she put us through. So this Monster devised a plan to straighten this revolting  lil monsters who were starting an uprising against her. One day after a funkie at a boy school, -and this time a boy even noticed me and promised to chorea me mail- she ordered that all the mails pass through the staffroom first for peksen (inspection in omera lingo hehehehe).

You can imagine the confusion that was written all over our faces when we peeked from the windows and did not see the letters following their kawa route...wololo the panic!! and you know girls!! word spread like wild fire and we were all engulfed in a puff of anxiety... Then the horror stopped being a nightmare and became real...all those who received letters from boys regardless who he was, were in for something worse than the Armageddon! One by one, frightened girls were called from their classes to the staff room to face what would later be known as step one of their doom :(

I remember one case very vividly...you are soon to find out why it was MIND BLASTING (God bless Rustle Peters)  So this boy ,who has in time become one of my very good friends, wrote a letter to his soon to be girlfriend in....U guessed it wrong! KIKISII !!! The whole frigging letter....I was jazzed..but the teachers were not to be outwitted, one Kimenyi mwalimu who did not have any work on his hands but gossip (Like some people I know ) took a fresh piece of paper and translated the whole darn letter and presented it to the said Monster headmistress and that girl was in trooooooubble what!

Preliminaries ended and my name did not come up ((thinking)) kumbe one ka mwalimu I had befriended covered for me big time( I owe you one sister Teresia) so I was out of the frying pan and into the water hehehehe..so many more were fished out from class and the an emergency parade called for! Now this was the icing on the cake...all the letters were read and then all those who had "gotewad" (Ngoteee as Pronounced by Manyonyo) were called to take center stage...thought that crossed my mind ((I should have gotten popcorn for this! Its going to be an interesting movie))...wololo the way the were forced to lie on the hard ground and stepped on wololo hata prisoners are not treated like that woiye...That could have been me. I felt it bana SERIOUSLY felt it... The fiasco finally died down after thr boys insisted on writing back over and over...infact the influx was overwhelm mpaka they chokad hehehehe...to the delight of everyone..

Just the tip of the iceberg...That school was special :) I think I should do this more often for ol times sake hehehehe:)

Till another magic moment muchachos :) Work is calling :*

MOTHERHOOD 101- I am no expert!

So my fiance has been begging me to write something, anything! and I kept putting him off...the writing bug has not been around for a really long time and too much has happend in my life that I really did not have time to write. Its been two months since I have officially been back to work and its killing me! Mad respect to all mother's y'all! Now I know. Most of my peers have been sending me inboxes of late asking for advise here and there about motherhood and I feel really honored :) So in honor of that, I will document sneak peaks of my motherhood experiences the best way I know how (Darn! my writing mojo just went and dissapeared with the dogs....sigh!) a) Pregnancy I have to say this was the most beautiful part of motherhood for me and the most challenging. I vividly remember when I first got the results of my pregnancy test..FEAR,PANIC,HORROR were the words that were running through my head. I was barely out of Uni, with a boyfriend I had dated for about seven months,...

As is my tradition, Its almost end of year and I have several things to document...It is that time of the year where I reflect, think about all the things that have happened in my life and sigh*2012 has been a pretty good year! So first things first... a) My Job Have you ever had a love/ hate relationship with your job? Well, lets just say am one of those people. My kinda job is fascinating, mind boggling even...the kind of processes that go through getting work out are intricate and it fascinates me and some people are pleasent to hang out with BUT others tho! Enough said. That said and done, I am now permanent and I thank God for the far he has brought me. Building my confidence in my ability to be the best at what I do.
