The Influential Y's

Wassup peeps, Hoping your Easter hols was timam!! Mine was superb got to hang out with the most beautiful women in my life (ok fine I know its way past easter but that does not mean the HANGOVER is over yet)...That long break was well deserved because it got my creative juices flowing (Brace yourselves hehehe)
So the topic that is buzzing in my head concerns all the influential men in my life...Hmmmm
I will not deny this fact, I am a daddy's girl, and for me to even start describing my dad is an understatement! I can't...(Oh well I can try- ((blush)) ) no cynicism this time, only pure raw honesty....This man am talking about is exceptional, charming yet strict, the perfect balance of nature. He has the CUTEST smile after which Celeb is this again???END OF THINKING capacity, no one matches him... (I know the men are going like Bi*** but herro, hang your selrovs!!!)
Back to this man, I now know why my moms fell head over heels yawa...he has the funniest jokes, the shadiest weekend fashion and the wickedest sense of humor...But when it comes to being a disciplinarian he does his job without breaking a sweat -I once had to visit a dentist for a tooth extraction all from akaslap my pops gave me- I had marked his vintage velvet chairs with the WWF logo using a razor HAHAHAHAHAHA (Story for another day)
But are y'all seeing my point? I love this guy to DEATH......The other man (my Bro) takes so much after him but his blog is a whole other story coming up...you will get to see why he is a special man in my life.

Of boyfriends and husbands (what the Nairobi chic calls them nowadays "my hubby this, my hubby that") Well this is a sector am well versed with...one could call me- Manager, menology 101. But so far the most influential in this sector is the current one( Nilikalia chapo yake )**EVIL GRIN. He is the sweetest, kindest, politest man I know. This guy accepted me  the way I was, badly broken and wounded...each time he would hold me in his arms he would swear I was the most beautiful chic in his eyes...and I had the hardest time believing him (I had issues-the Ugly Duckling syndrome had caught up with me at some point) But he held on, still does loving me day in, day out without questions without inhibitions...Damn!!! am becoming too soft...MANING UP (teeth clenched)
But he is the best my Mr.S.....Dare you set eyes on him hehehehe ( I will dungia you a drink acha tu!!)If you dont know what this means welcome to the Ghetto side of life TZ Style muhahaha.....

You thought I was done???? Not yet....Then there is Mr.X...Yawa the hot robust man in my life...C'mon every girl has one be it Alejandro, Otieno, you name it..Whenever I see him (which is rare) my heart goes paragasha-LITERALLY (referring to some of my new found friends who experience the same sensations ((giggle)) ) But he does things to this little mind...I see him I imagine Paradise mara that that (SHIT I have adopted this shady slang phrase already ALAR!!) But hey...
I will be a soap Opera writer for a moment here and let you feel what I feel whenever I bump into him...My heart beats as fast as the Khoi khoi drums in the desert storms **anyone ever remember using these phrases? Pure raw nostalgia.....anyhu, my palms, skin, armpit, basically any part of my body that has pores sweats like crazy and my mind goes into a hypnotic state (%@$&*) Ok am exaggerating a little but you get my drift...

I could write and write and write BUT am stealing the company's productive hours and I gotta bounce and be a serious employee- Hey am being paid to work! (and play hehehehe) Next....the influential women in my life...

Ciao muchachos
Till next when the creative juices will be flowing!!

For old times sake :)

Juices flowing, fave playlist, Thursday that feels like a Friday and all awesome thoughts. I am making mighty milestones and I thank one God Almighty bana warrr I have come far :) Ok now back to the usual sarcastic me...A friend gave me a brilliant idea and I think I just know how to execute it ( Jose I wish you were here, one serious bitching session needed- like real soon, since you went to the UK you have become ooooo so very boring!!!! KIDDING) So I have had the privilege to have been in a girls' school for four long but very interesting years and truth be told I had some of my most incredible memories there. It was a roller coaster of hysteria mixed with just the right dose of  hormonal rages and plenty of Cabin fever scenarios :) :) As am writing the memories all come to light and  cheka like a stupid mama wondering why we ever made such a big deal of some things! (Jana we was just telling pops all the crazy "don't tell this shit" things we used to as kids and...

MOTHERHOOD 101- I am no expert!

So my fiance has been begging me to write something, anything! and I kept putting him off...the writing bug has not been around for a really long time and too much has happend in my life that I really did not have time to write. Its been two months since I have officially been back to work and its killing me! Mad respect to all mother's y'all! Now I know. Most of my peers have been sending me inboxes of late asking for advise here and there about motherhood and I feel really honored :) So in honor of that, I will document sneak peaks of my motherhood experiences the best way I know how (Darn! my writing mojo just went and dissapeared with the dogs....sigh!) a) Pregnancy I have to say this was the most beautiful part of motherhood for me and the most challenging. I vividly remember when I first got the results of my pregnancy test..FEAR,PANIC,HORROR were the words that were running through my head. I was barely out of Uni, with a boyfriend I had dated for about seven months,...

2012 hasbeen one EFFING Good Year!

I have not written on this blog for a whiiiiiiile...OK even that is an understatement. I have not had the juices flow in a long time and things have been kinda hectic on my end. As is my tradition, Its almost end of year and I have several things to document...It is that time of the year where I reflect, think about all the things that have happened in my life and sigh*2012 has been a pretty good year! So first things first... a) My Job Have you ever had a love/ hate relationship with your job? Well, lets just say am one of those people. My kinda job is fascinating, mind boggling even...the kind of processes that go through getting work out are intricate and it fascinates me and some people are pleasent to hang out with BUT others tho! Enough said. That said and done, I am now permanent and I thank God for the far he has brought me. Building my confidence in my ability to be the best at what I do. God has been great. b) My folks/ Family There is a phrase commonly used that I tot...
